We are excited to be embarking on a partnership with the City of Glasgow College in pursuit of the NEBOSH National General Certificate for Health & Safety Champions within our team. Leading by example, Andrew Fielding (Commercial Director) has been part of this first phase and has just completed, along with other willing participants, the 12 day intensive course culminating in examinations and a practical submission.
NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) was formed in 1979 as an awarding body with charitable status. They offer a comprehensive range of globally-recognised, qualifications designed to meet the health, safety and environmental management needs of all places of work. In 2014, they were awarded Britain’s highest accolade for trade success, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, for our “outstanding achievement” in International Trade.
The qualifications, such as the National General Certificate, are recognised by the relevant professional membership bodies including the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
